Location: Jackson MI (hybrid)
Onsite Collaboration Requirements —
2–3 weeks onsite in Jackson required at the start of employment
Ongoing onsite presence of 1–2 weeks per month thereafter
Meeting days are Tuesday through Thursday when onsite
•Agile & Clean Code Leadership — Lead Agile practices and champion clean coding standards across the product lifecycle, mentoring junior and mid level engineers.
•Technical Direction — Drive architectural and technical strategy, ensuring the team understands and implements core engineering concepts.
•Architectural Decision Making — Make significant system level decisions that support performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
•Business Context Alignment — Translate business objectives into technical solutions that deliver measurable value.
End to End Solution Ownership — Maintain system reliability, resolve production issues, and contribute directly to product development velocity.
•Cross Functional Collaboration — Partner with designers, product managers, and other engineers in an Agile environment.
•ADMS Product Suite Alignment — Ensure all software engineering work aligns with the Emerson / OSI / AspenTech ADMS product suite, including architectural consistency, integration patterns, and product specific technical standards.
•Additional Responsibilities — Perform other duties as assigned to support product and organizational needs.
