- Build internal tools, dashboards, and data pipelines supporting engineering and manufacturing teams
- Integrate software with hardware systems where required
- Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to support development velocity and code quality
- Write automated tests, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and uphold code quality standards
- Participate in code reviews
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical direction
- Act as a reliable technical partner across teams, supporting integration with mechanical, mechatronics, and controls engineers
- Share and apply best practices, coding standards, and AI-assisted development techniques
- Support initiatives to establish software engineering standards and workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years' professional software engineering experience, ideally in fast-paced startups, manufacturing tech, or industrial IoT
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Solid front-end skills with modern frameworks (React, Vue, Next.js)
- Experience with cloud platforms, deployment, and infrastructure-as-code (AWS, GCP, Azure; Terraform or Pulumi)
- Daily and proficient use of AI coding assistants
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB), message queues, and RESTful/GraphQL APIs
- Familiarity with software architecture patterns, CI/CD, testing, and DevOps practices
- Full-stack capability and ability to contribute to production-ready software end-to-end
- Self-starter with initiative and strong communication skills
- Experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing software (MES, SCADA, data platforms)
- Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana)
- Previous hands-on experience shaping software engineering culture and practices in a small or scaling team
