Sprocket Sports is a rapidly growing technology company based in Chicago that is quickly emerging as a national leader in the youth sports marketplace. Our software and services help clubs streamline operations, reduce expenses and accelerate growth – freeing them up from the business of running a club so they can focus on what really matters: kids playing sports!

We are currently seeking a Full-Stack Software Developer to join our Team. The ideal candidate has a passion for youth sports and creating best-in-class software applications that will be used by thousands of youth sports club administrators, coaches, parents and players.

About the role:

Sprocket Sports is seeking experienced software developers to collaborate with product managers, UX specialists, and operational stakeholders to build features that enhance its youth sports club management platform. In this role, developers do more than write code—they also help shape feature requirements and guide the ongoing evolution of product modules. We are looking for creative thinkers who are passionate about continually improving the features they develop.

What you'll do:

• Partner closely with product managers and other developers to define future product direction.
• Architect the database and code structure to deliver functionality in a manner that will be scalable and with high performance.
• Develop code adhering to the specifications, user stories and tickets for both web and mobile applications.
• Interface with 3rd party vendors to define and develop integrations to other platforms.
• Leverage AI to gain efficiencies in code creation and unit testing.
• Test, troubleshoot, debug and maintain new product features to ensure functionality is delivered without defects.
• Monitor platform traffic and make adjustments as necessary to ensure good application performance.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years professional experience in software development.
• Full-stack development experience with C#, .NET (.NET Core), Entity Framework and SQL.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to analytically defend design decisions and take feedback without ego.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability.

Chicago-based, able to be on-site one day per week.
