Location: Dalton, Georgia | Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, with evening meetings


Responsibilities


  • Maintain and debug converted COBOL-to-Java programs
  • Investigate system failures by analyzing structured logs and tracing execution flow
  • Develop and enhance Java integration code (JDBC, IBM MQ triggers, file I/O)
  • Collaborate with the customer to validate migrated business logic against z/OS originals


Required Skills


  • Java, OOP, JDBC
  • Azure SQL Server / T-SQL
  • Bash scripting (Linux batch scripts)
  • Log analysis & debugging
