We're looking for a Design Automation Engineer to lead the evolution of the product configuration and design automation platform. This is an opportunity to shape how engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customers interact with highly configurable products by developing intelligent, rules-based configurators that drive efficiency across the business.
If you've worked with SolidWorks, DriveWorks, or similar design automation tools, and enjoy solving technical challenges that have real business impact, you'll find plenty to build in this opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Develop and enhance automated product configurators using DriveWorks and SolidWorks
- Create scalable, rules-based configuration logic for multiple product families
- Integrate engineering automation with ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms
- Design and maintain SQL databases supporting engineering applications
- Collaborate with engineering, software, and business teams to improve workflows
- Troubleshoot and continuously improve automation performance
- Help drive the future of digital engineering within a growing manufacturing organization
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Strong SolidWorks design and modeling experience
- Experience with DriveWorks or another product configurator platform
- SQL database experience
- Python and/or JavaScript programming skills
- Experience with GitHub, SOLIDWORKS PDM, or other version control tools
- A passion for automation, process improvement, and solving complex engineering problems
