OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Power Platform (including Power Automation and Power Apps) to build and enhance business-critical applications. This role focuses on delivering high-quality solutions, strong problem-solving, and effective collaboration within a cross-functional Agile team.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment & Implementation:
- Design, develop, and configure solutions using Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM) and Dataverse
- Build and maintain Power Automate workflows to support business processes
- Develop applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps)
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform deployments
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices
Quality & Troubleshooting:
- Deliver high-quality, well-tested, and reliable code and configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Dynamics, Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate
- Participate in debugging, root cause analysis, and performance optimization
- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the Tech Lead and Solution Architect to implement technical designs
- Collaborate with the Technical Product Manager to understand and refine business requirements
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders on progress, risks, and issues
Engineering Practices:
- Follow established coding standards, development guidelines, and governance practices
- Use Git (or similar tools) for source control and version management of:
- Web resources
- Dataverse tables and forms
- Environment variables
- Power Automate flows
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience working with Dynamics 365 / Power Platform
- Hands-on experience with:
- Dynamics 365 Sales and Dataverse
- Power Automate
- Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven)
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Take the on-call duty, including but not limited to, during nights and weekends to support Broad Arrow Auctions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
- Basic knowledge of Azure services and integrations
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform
