Responsibilities

Make an impact

  • Design, develop, and deploy MES applications using Java and related technologies,
  • integrate MES with ERP, SCADA, PLCs, and other industrial systems,
  • collaborate with manufacturing engineers and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions,
  • develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals,
  • troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues in a timely manner,
  • ensure system scalability, performance, and security,
  • participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field,
  • 3+ years of experience in Java development,
  • hands-on experience with MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Proficy, or similar),
  • strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor systems,
  • experience with SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Maria DB),
  • familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration frameworks,
  • familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies,
  • experience with version control systems (e.g., Git),
  • excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
