As a Senior C++ Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the banking sector focused on integrating and maintaining sophisticated financial systems. You will contribute to the development of Fixed Income Financial software based on Summit software, supporting the bank’s internal and external interacting entities. Be part of a forward-thinking team driving digital transformation and delivering impactful solutions in the financial industry.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Fixed Income Financial software leveraging Summit SDK and other relevant technologies.
- Learn and understand Summit Software and related IT systems, maintaining detailed documentation (JIRA, Confluence).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate services and ensure seamless system interactions.
- Create and automate functional and unit tests, supporting quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to evolving non-regression testing tools and other efficiency enhancements.
- Assist with DevOps tasks as needed, supporting continuous integration and deployment.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 6 years of experience in software development, preferably within financial systems.
- Strong proficiency in C++, shell scripting, C#, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Very good command of English (C1 level).
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Experience with Summit SDK.
- Knowledge of Python, Digital.ai (XLDeploy), Jenkins, Artifactory.
- Understanding of back-office workflows such as clearing, confirmation, payments, and accounting.
- Financial products knowledge: credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, FX, and options.
Language Required for the role:
English: Fluent (C1 level).
French and Portuguese: Nice to have, with French B2 and Portuguese C2 levels.
