This position is part of the Solutions (SolCo) business within the Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) division. SolCo is one of the two independent entities being created from ANH as part of its divestment to CVC Capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements for software and application development, creating prototypes and solutions across different technologies while selecting the most appropriate methods and techniques for each situation.
- Maintain and support existing solutions, as well as contribute to the continuous evolution of software applications and systems.
- Understand and utilize source code version control systems throughout the development process.
- Collaborate in database modeling and maintenance, as well as develop queries and instructions for data extraction using SQL.
- Support the development of user interfaces, ensuring usability requirements are met.
- Identify potential risks and issues within applications, developing solutions that improve software quality through unit, integration, acceptance, load, and usability testing.
- Promote and influence the adoption of Agile methodologies, fostering engagement, collaboration, and the development of self-managed, high-performing teams.
- Support activity tracking and progress monitoring, focusing on the continuous delivery of value to customers.
- Act as a knowledge-sharing advocate, promoting software development best practices and encouraging the adoption of new methods, tools, and market standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Knowledge of ReactJS and other front-end development technologies.
- Experience with Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of mobile application development using React Native.
- Experience with TDD (Test-Driven Development) and automated testing.
- Knowledge of version control using GitHub.
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments and methodologies.
- Knowledge of software development best practices.
- Experience with AI-Assisted Software Development, leveraging AI tools for code generation, test creation, documentation, refactoring, and productivity improvement throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
