Full Stack Web Developer (World of Tanks Console)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join the World of Tanks Console team, with a strong focus on backend systems and live-service platform integration. While the role is titled "Full Stack," the day-to-day work is heavily weighted toward backend engineering - building and maintaining the services that support core gameplay systems, player data, and platform integrations across a live, high-traffic console title.

What will you do?

• Design, build, and maintain backend services supporting live-service functionality for World of Tanks Console
• Develop and integrate platform-specific authentication and services (Xbox, PlayStation Network, Steam)
• Design and implement REST APIs used across internal and platform-facing systems
• Work with distributed messaging systems to support scalable, event-driven architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and performance of production systems
• Contribute to infrastructure and deployment practices using containerized and orchestrated environments

What are we looking for?

• Strong proficiency in Python, including async Python (asyncio)
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Experience with RabbitMQ / AMQP messaging systems
• Experience with Redis
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of REST API design principles

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience with Django
• Experience with OAuth2 / JWT, particularly for platform authentication (Xbox, PSN, Steam)
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with Twisted

Nice to have / can be developed on the job:

• Experience with gaming platform APIs (Xbox Live, PSN, Steam)
• Familiarity with Python 2.7

Work mode

• Hybrid (3 days of work from the office).
• This role isn't eligible for relocation & immigration support.
