Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a Transaction Middleware and ProFlex 4 Support professional with design and development experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. In this role you will be part of the team established to configure and develop complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms and consult with business users on requirements gathering, system design, configuration, and implementation. You'll be working closely with the Delivery Manager, IT development, and architecture groups while collaborating with several lines of business. Additional responsibilities include:
- Guides the technical design and development of highly-complex, cross-functional, and multi-platform, application systems;
- Defines and documents the designs for applications and enhancements;
- Coordinates the definition of timetables and project tasks and estimates cost(s) and time;
- Creates, reviews, and coordinates execution of unit test plans for multiple projects and identifies opportunities to improve testing process(es);
- Oversees the design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solution(s);
- Develops high-level program specifications and ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved;
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk;
- Guides technical staff and clients to investigate, analyze, and resolve highly-complex, technical problems;
- Identifies and facilitates interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations;
- Analyzes, defines, and documents design for data, workflow, logical processes, and operating system environment and interfaces with other systems, internal and external;
- Oversees monitoring of existing application systems operating efficiency;
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends technical solutions;
- Demonstrates deep understanding of the business needs driving projects; and
- Becomes main point of contact for business lines as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- At least 10 years of experience with developing and implementing applications
- Extensive experience in:
- Product and vendor evaluation
- System testing
- Information testing
- Subject matter expertise in:
- System development life cycle
- Change control
- Programming
- IT standards, procedures, policy
- Application design, architecture
- Application testing
- Implementation
- Application maintenance
- Release management
- Application development tools
- Modeling: data, process, events, objects

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
