Position Summary

Acro is seeking a highly motivated Technical Solutions Developer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications, ERP systems, and technology initiatives.

This is a hands-on role that combines technical problem-solving, application support, software development, and coordination of offshore development resources. The ideal candidate is a strong technical generalist who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, working directly with business users, and driving projects and enhancements to successful completion.


Key Responsibilities

Application Support & Technical Problem Solving

  • Support and troubleshoot business applications, ERP systems, integrations, and custom software solutions.
  • Investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement or coordinate corrective actions.
  • Analyze application code, database objects, integrations, and system configurations to identify and resolve problems.
  • Work closely with business users to understand issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Participate in system upgrades, deployments, and ongoing application maintenance activities.

Technical Coordination & Delivery

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities between business stakeholders, offshore development teams, vendors, and internal resources.
  • Translate business needs into actionable work items and ensure successful delivery of enhancements and projects.
  • Monitor progress, review deliverables, and help drive initiatives to completion.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to offshore development resources.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across distributed teams.

Development & Solution Support

  • Support application enhancements, troubleshoot technical issues, review/modify code changes, and assist development teams with solution delivery.
  • Support integrations, reporting solutions, workflow automation, and ERP-related projects.
  • Contribute to solution design discussions and recommend practical technical approaches.
  • Assist with testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.

Business Engagement & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Support requirements gathering, solution documentation, and testing as needed.
  • Recommend technology and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, including ERP modernization and digital transformation efforts.


Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3-7 years of experience in software development, application support, and technical solution delivery.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and software development teams.
  • Experience coordinating work with offshore development resources.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications and business systems.
  • Experience participating in software implementation, enhancement, or integration projects.

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on programming and troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, debug, and modify application code when needed.
  • Experience with databases and SQL query development/troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, web applications, and software architecture.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with .NET/C#, SQL Server, Power Platform, SharePoint, or similar Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with workflow automation, reporting tools, or enterprise integrations.
  • Experience supporting distributed teams and offshore development models.
  • Exposure to ERP migration, application modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.


Physical Demands

  • Frequently sits, walks, and stands.
  • May be required to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.

Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a hybrid office environment.
  • The noise level in the work area is usually low.
