Role Overview:

We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer for our inhouse projects at Squaredev.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs using Python
• Developing responsive and maintainable frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Collaborating with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensuring code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices
• Improving system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Participating in architectural decisions and technical discussions
• Taking ownership of features from design to production

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• At least 2 years of experience as a fullstack engineer
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Extensive experience building APIs in Python (preferably FastAPI)
• Strong experience in frontend development (preferably React & TypeScript)
• Knowledge of backend systems. Auth strategies, task queues, async programming & event loops etc
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including schema design, indexing and performance optimization
• Comfortable writing tests (unit and/or end-to-end)
• Experience with Git

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with AI-assisted code generation tools
• Experience with Node.js
• Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
