What you will do:

• Rapidly prototype and develop full-stack applications, from frontend interfaces to backend APIs and databases.
• Design, implement, and maintain backend APIs and services for reliable production use.
• Build self-service tools for our data platform to empower internal teams.
• Diagnose and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, platform engineers, and other teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Share best practices, mentor peers, and help establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, and deployment.

What you bring & who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong Python skills with backend/web development experience (e.g., Flask, FastAPI).
• Proven experience designing and building APIs, services, and backend architectures.
• Familiarity with testing practices, Git, CI/CD, package management, and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Experience contributing to open-source projects (code contributions, reviews, or maintenance).
• Quick learner, collaborative, and proactive in sharing knowledge across teams and projects.
• Ideally, experience in data engineering and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Fluent in English.
