Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To The Following
- Managing and maintaining software and system updates across the environment, utilizing tools such as SCCM, Intune, and PatchMyPC to automate and track update deployments.
- Overseeing imaging management and troubleshooting within Intune and SCCM, ensuring consistent and reliable workstation deployments.
- Managing desktop client management tools including Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, Entra, Azure to support imaging, device provisioning, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management.
- Managing computer policies through Intune and Group Policy Object (GPO) administration, including configuration and maintenance of Autopilot enrollment profiles and related policies.
- Developing and executing scripts to automate administrative tasks, improve system configurations, and support desktop management operations.
OR
Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field AND 6 years of experience in computer operations or in providing technical computer support;
OR
High school diploma (or G.E.D.) AND 7 years of experience in computer operations or in providing technical computer support.
Degree must be from a college or university that is accredited by the U.S. Department of Education through the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Higher Learning Commission or equivalent region.
License Requirements
Must possess a valid driver’s license at time of appointment and maintain thereafter as a term and condition of continued employment.
Special Requirements
Must possess a minimum of ONE of the listed certifications below or closely related/comparable certification at time of appointment:
- Microsoft 365 Certified
- Microsoft Technology Associate
- Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Endpoint Administrator Associate
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+
- HDI Desktop Advance Support Technician
- ITIL Foundations

Background Check
A background investigation and evidence of Employment Authorization and Identity is required prior to employment. All candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position, including current city employees seeking transfer, promotion, demotion, etc. into a classified position.
