Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking to add a senior DevOps Engineer to our team to help us evolve best practices in automated deployment, monitoring and alerting for our production systems. EAIGLE is looking for a DevOps Engineering professional with both infrastructure and solid software development skills. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and self-learning capabilities and an openness to work with any required technology and languages.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Lead DevOps Engineering, the candidate will be required to:

• Design and develop automated deployment processes targeting Azure cloud environments
• Design and develop support tools and software bridges connecting the various on-prem and cloud environments
• Enhance our on-premise and cloud observability, software packaging & telemetry
• Support the DevOps team with regard to software packaging and telemetry
• Provide expertise to the DevOps team with regard to software security
• Extend and maintain the internal infrastructure platform
• Provide support in solving technical issues and incidents in cloud services
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in automated configuration and deployment
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET and PowerShell
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge and experience with Terraform
• Strong knowledge of Docker and configuration management platforms (Ansible, Saltstack)
• Strong knowledge of software containers and container security scanning
• Experience with Windows & Linux (preferably server administration)
• Experience with Packer considered a plus
