A data platform that provides comprehensive energy-related information necessary for electricity trading, including market data such as electricity and fuel prices.

③eScan: Market Risk Management Tool

An Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) system specialized for the Japanese power market, which visualizes business risks based on trading activity and market data.

It also offers simulation features to compare risks under various scenarios.

■Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of enechain’s infrastructure by fully leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As part of a small and elite engineering team, you will play a key role in driving microservices adoption and designing scalable system architecture in anticipation of business expansion.

・Developing a monitoring infrastructure to maintain visibility over overall system health

・Promoting microservices adoption and improving architecture for scalability

・Setting service-level objectives (SLOs) for each product

・Enhancing deployment pipelines

・Developing shared Terraform modules

・Creating and maintaining on-call runbooks

・Conducting regular incident response training

・Establishing design and development guidelines

Required

・Experience with team development using Git

・Experience building deployment pipelines using CI tools such as CircleCI or GitHub Actions

・Experience developing infrastructure and programs for logging, monitoring, and other operational monitoring

・Experience building and operating infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform

・Experience in building and operating public cloud services (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) or private cloud environments such as OpenStack

・Basic knowledge of Unix-based operating systems

・Basic knowledge of networking and security

・Basic knowledge of container technologies such as Docker

・Ability to create design documents or proposals and reach consensus with various stakeholders

Preferred

・Experience in developing and operating products or tools using Go

・Experience identifying and resolving system issues (e.g., performance degradation, single points of failure)

・Ability to appropriately design and manage cloud infrastructure based on requirements for security, availability, developer productivity, and essential business needs

・Experience in capacity planning and architecture design based on service level objectives

・Experience in designing and building Kubernetes clusters

・Experience building monitoring infrastructures using tools such as Datadog and Prometheus

・Experience using BI tools such as Looker Studio to visualize various metrics

・Experience planning incident response drills and maintaining on-call runbooks

・Experience leading improvements in application security, infrastructure security, and conducting security assessments

・Production operation experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL and Amazon RDS
