Platform Engineer

What will you do?

• Design, build and evolve enterprise-scale Platform Engineering and DevOps capabilities.
• Define and maintain CI/CD standards, reusable pipelines and deployment automation across multiple development teams.
• Design and operate cloud-native platforms on AWS and Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, reliability and security.
• Develop and enhance Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) to improve developer experience and self-service capabilities.
• Create and maintain Golden Paths, reusable templates and shared platform services to standardize software delivery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools such as Terraform, GitLab and Jenkins.
• Establish platform engineering standards, best practices and reference architectures across the organization.
• Implement observability and reliability practices using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
• Drive DevSecOps initiatives, including vulnerability management, secrets management, policy-as-code and compliance automation.
• Monitor engineering performance through DORA metrics, platform KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure and development teams to deliver scalable and efficient platform solutions.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and GitLab in enterprise environments.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and deployment automation using Git, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins and Terraform.
• Experience designing and operating Kubernetes-based platforms and cloud-native applications.
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) using tools such as Backstage, Crossplane or similar solutions.
• Strong understanding of observability, reliability engineering and operational excellence, including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry and SLOs/SLAs.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps best practices and platform governance.
• Knowledge of engineering metrics, DORA metrics and developer productivity initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills and professional proficiency in English.
