Principal DevOps Engineer (Strong Programming): $200-250K+

We're working with a big name in the Deep Tech space in their search for a Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer with a very high level of autonomy.

This is an On-Site (5 days/week) Position in the San Diego Area.

Because the client does a significant amount of work with the U.S. Federal Government, we can only consider U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders at this time.

This Position will Require a Very High Level of Autonomy: Must Be a Self-Starter and Not Require Much "Hand-Holding"

What We're Looking for in a Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer:

• 10 Years Experience in the Software Engineering Field with a focus on DevOps/SRE
• Expert-Level Expertise in Containerization/Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• Very Strong Scripting and/or Programming Experience: Python, Go, Bash, etc.
• Extensive Experience in Multi-Cloud and Hybrid Environments
• Highly Proficient with IaC Tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
• Extensive Experience Building and Releasing CI/CD Pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab,GitHub
• Experience with Cloud Security and Compliance Best Practices, DevSecOps
• High Level of Autonomy and Agency and Ability to Work Little Direction
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM Field
