Responsibilities
- Design and implement GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) foundational architecture and enterprise setup.
- Define GitHub data residency architecture aligned with regulatory, compliance, and organizational requirements.
- Configure enterprise account structure, organizations, repositories, projects, teams, and branching strategies.
- Establish repository governance, artifact management standards, and enterprise-wide governance policies.
- Implement GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS), including code scanning, secret scanning, dependency review, and supply chain security controls.
- Define security guardrails, policy-as-code frameworks, compliance controls, and audit requirements.
- Architect and implement GitHub Actions-based CI/CD pipelines and enterprise automation solutions.
- Develop reusable workflow templates, pipeline standards, and CI/CD best practices across multiple technology stacks.
- Design, implement, and manage GitHub-hosted and self-hosted runner environments, including OpenShift/ARO-based runners and Actions Runner Controller (ARC).
- Define runner lifecycle management, autoscaling, capacity planning, performance optimization, and scalability strategies.
- Integrate GitHub with enterprise DevSecOps, testing, deployment, security, and ITSM tools, including OpenShift, Argo CD, Sonatype Nexus, CyberArk Conjur, Playwright, Tosca, qTest, Jira, and ServiceNow.
- Implement enterprise identity and access management using SSO, SAML, MFA, SCIM, RBAC, role mapping, and access governance.
- Lead application onboarding to GitHub Enterprise Cloud and migration of existing CI/CD pipelines to GitHub Actions.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, audit log streaming, SIEM integration, and operational dashboards.
- Configure operational automation, notification frameworks, and ServiceNow-based incident and ticketing integrations.
- Establish CI/CD standardization, platform governance, and enterprise-scale DevSecOps adoption frameworks.
- Define operating models, support processes, production readiness criteria, and platform governance standards.
- Develop platform documentation, onboarding guides, user enablement materials, and knowledge transfer assets.
- Plan and manage enterprise rollout, license utilization, user growth, go-live support, and adoption strategies.
- Provide architecture leadership, solution design, technical mentoring, implementation guidance, and issue resolution support.
