Title - Site Reliability Engineer
Location - Cary, North Carolina, United States
- 10+ years of progressive experience in an SRE and production support role.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Ansible for automation, configuration management, and orchestration.
- Proven proficiency in Python programming, including experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., data manipulation, scripting, web frameworks).
- Solid understanding and Hands on work experience of database concepts and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
- Linux, Job scheduing and shell scripting experience.
- Monitoring tools experience such as New Relic / Grafana / Prometheus.
- Networking related concepts.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab, GitHub).
- Experience in Kubernetes, Terraform
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- ITIL and Change management and its lifecycle
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, especially how to resolve critical and high priority incidents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
