We’re Hiring: Junior Site Reliability Engineer

Are you looking to grow your career in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure?

TLScontact is looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer to join our IT Operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in DevOps, IT Operations, or SRE who is keen to develop within a cloud-focused environment.

In this role, you will help maintain and improve the availability, reliability, performance, and security of our applications, infrastructure, and services.

What you’ll be doing:

You will support the management and maintenance of Kubernetes/OpenShift components, assist with cloud infrastructure, contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, and help automate manual processes using scripting tools such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

You will also be involved in monitoring system performance, supporting incident response, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to keep our production environments reliable and efficient.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a DevOps, IT Operations, or SRE-related role
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly AWS
  • Basic scripting knowledge, such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, ELK, Prometheus, or similar
  • Exposure to tools such as PDQ, Tanium, or Intune
  • A good understanding of software development lifecycle and deployment practices
  • Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a genuine interest in automation and improving system performance

Experience with Git, GitLab, GitHub Actions, ITIL processes, ticketing systems, identity systems, personal data protection, or biometric platforms would be beneficial.

This role may include participation in an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends, with a structured escalation process in place.

Why join us?

This is an excellent opportunity to build your career in SRE and DevOps while working in a technical environment that supports critical applications and services. You’ll gain exposure to cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, incident support, and modern deployment practices.
