Job Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and supporting server platforms across physical, virtual, and cloud-hosted environments.
- Proactively monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing hybrid infrastructure environments, including on-premises servers and virtualization platforms.
- Implementing and maintaining security and configuration controls aligned with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance and operational testing related to server technologies.
- Assisting infrastructure and application teams with capacity planning, performance monitoring, and high-availability design.
- Participating in infrastructure lifecycle activities including deployments, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning.
- Participating in Maintenance activities such as OS / Firmware patching.
- Leveraging automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
- Remaining current on infrastructure best practices and emerging technologies and acting as a technical resource for architecture, operations, and audit activities.
- Developing, documenting, and maintaining system architecture diagrams, operational procedures, test plans, and security standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Will accept 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting enterprise server.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments; Linux experience is a plus.
- Detailed Working knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware).
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Ability to work weekends / outside of core business hours.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. person status
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and identity.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting, including PowerShell.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across complex, distributed environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both self-directed and team-based environments.
