DevOps Engineer – Consultant – Americas Delivery Mexico (ADMX)

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

As a Consultant at Deloitte, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for supporting the overall project goals and objectives. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. It is expected that you will be able to perform independent tasks as well as provide technical guidance to team members, as needed. We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to drive and scale client’s infrastructure, with a primary focus on Kubernetes orchestration and cloud-native technologies. In this role, you will architect, implement, and manage our containerized environments, ensuring performance, security, and reliability for critical applications and services.

Qualifications

Required

• 3-5+ years of consulting and/or industry experience.
• Completion of course of study/Egresado in Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering, or any pertinent field or industry, or equivalent years of experience.
• Responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks.
• Advanced English level.
• Solid experience on the following roles/areas or adjacent: DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer with Cloud environments.
• Define and enforce best practices for containerization, infrastructure, code (Iac) and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience designing, creating, monitoring and troubleshooting Kubernetes in a production-grade environment (EKS, GKE, AKS or self-managed clusters). Deep knowledge on Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes components.
• Proficiency working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experienced in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, Azure DevOps, Gitlab, etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible or similar.
• Proficient in automation scripting (Python, Bash, Powershell, etc).

• Experience working under Agile environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experienced with mentoring or leading teams.
