About the OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer (AWS / DevOps) to join a high-performing technology team delivering secure, enterprise-scale cloud transformation projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern AWS platforms, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices while contributing to large-scale cloud initiatives.
Due to the secure nature of this position, Australian Citizenship is mandatory, and candidates must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support secure cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML and Classic).
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and microservices architecture.
- Support deployments across Development, Test, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and project teams to deliver cloud solutions.
- Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and automation scripts.
- Support Linux environments and develop Shell/PowerShell scripts.
- Participate in solution design, technical planning, estimation, and Proof of Concept activities.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and automation.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
- Experience with Docker and containerised applications.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience managing deployments across multiple environments.
- Strong scripting skills using Shell and/or PowerShell.
- Good Linux administration experience.
- Experience working with JSON and YAML configuration files.
- .NET Full Stack development experience.
- Experience with enterprise cloud automation.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and IT service management.
- Experience supporting large enterprise infrastructure environments.
