๐ Network Security Architect โ Infrastructure as Code & DevSecOps
Indexed description
Our client is a premier global corporate and institutional banking institution. We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Network Security Architect to drive the architectural design, security governance, and automation of our next-generation infrastructure platforms.
In this critical role, you will be the core link between network defense and modern infrastructure engineering. You will own the security blueprints for high-availability systems, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps practices to guarantee secure, resilient, and compliant application delivery across our containerized environments.
If you bring a powerful blend of deep Linux expertise, cloud-native container security, and robust networking experience, this long-term mission offers a high-stakes engineering canvas.
๐ฏ Your Mission & Key Responsibilities:
- Security & Network Architecture: Define and design secure network architectures, governing SSL/TLS certificate management, high-performance reverse proxies, and robust load-balancing topologies.
- Cloud-Native GitOps Governance: Architect and secure cloud-native infrastructure utilizing GitOps frameworks, container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift), and continuous delivery engines (ArgoCD).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Standardize, secure, and accelerate infrastructure provisioning patterns, leveraging tools like Ansible or Terraform to enforce policy-as-code.
- CI/CD Lifecycle Security: Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security controls within automated pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- System Optimization: Maintain high standards of security and reliability across underlying Linux environments and web server stacks (Apache, JBoss, Tomcat).
๐ค Who You Are (Requirements):
- The Specialist: Minimum of 6 years of dedicated experience delivering complex IT projects heavily rooted in Linux environments (Windows Server exposure is a strong plus).
- Automation & Container Mastery: Extensive hands-on and architectural knowledge of container ecosystems, GitOps workflows, and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift, ArgoCD).
- Network & Web Security Fundamentals: Solid understanding of core networking protocols, encryption standards, load balancers, and secure web application delivery.
- Language Skills: B1 English proficiency is required as a baseline for operational collaboration. Knowledge of French (B1) is considered a major asset.
- Location: Must be already located in mainland Portugal and fully available to commute to the office under the local hybrid working model.
๐ Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python, to automate routine architectural checks.
- General knowledge of major public cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with enterprise monitoring toolsets (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK stack) or job schedulers (Control-M, VTOM).
