Infrastructure Engineer
Overview
The Infrastructure Engineer will join a dynamic and growing Global IT organization located in Barcelona with global support responsibilities particularly in Europe. Located in Barcelona, the Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day operation of the Barcelona office, maintain and upkeep our critical infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day operation for our European entities.
- Be a central point of contact to work with other team members to maintain and upkeeps our network, video conference, Linux Servers, and help support
- Desktop support for all the users in Kirkland
- Responsible for our Active Directory, DNS infrastructure for US/EMEA with high availability and high performance include migrate some of the critical component to Microsoft Azure
- Responsible for upkeeps our O365 security
- Responsible to roll out MFA (Multfactor Authentication) and SSO to our EMEA users
- Responsible for our zoom, teams’ infrastructure
- Responsible for the next generation of phone systems – IP-Phone infrastructure for EMEA
- Working with the security engineer team to roll out DLP, EDR clients to all the support endpoints. Maintain and upkeeps our security standard
- Responsible to support our engineer’s community and production Linux infrastructure – install, upgrade and maintain the health of Linux servers
- Responsible to backup all servers and restore upon requests
- BS in computer science or relevant work
- Strong experience in the following areas
- Microsoft Azure
- Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, O365
- Email security platform – Proofpoint, Armorblox
- Zoom integration – zoom rooms, voice
- Palo Alto – Global Protect
- SSO – Beyond Identity
- Microsoft SCCM
- Familiar with NIST framework
- Gitlab experience
- Windows/Linux System administrator experience
- Scripting/coding/automation skills (Python, Ansible, Powershell)
- Excellent communication skills – reading/writing
- Excellent troubleshooting skills (Linux Servers, desktop and networking)
- Team player – able to work with other team members and share knowledge
- Project management – waterfall and agile methodology
- ITIL v4 standard certification
- Microsoft certification – O365, Azure
