Cloud Engineer

The Role

• Provide continuous development and continuous integration including operational engineering, release management, implementation, and training.
• Design, build, and maintain capabilities using Amazon C2S enabled architecture and tools.
• Configure and manage core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, and Config.
• Automate system deployments and operational tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Develop and engineer improvements to cloud infrastructure and architecture to support continuous development and continuous integration.
• Support patching, logging, vulnerability scanning, and compliance tracking.

What You'll Need

• TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
• BA/BS degree and 8-12 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud services with architectural design experience.
• 4 years of experience in AWS Cloud Technologies and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• 4 years of experience implementing Amazon C2S enabled architectures and tools (Ansible, Cloud Formations, Terraform, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, Docker, GIT, S3).
• IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
