About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President – Senior Automation Engineer to join our Infrastructure Automation team in Kuala Lumpur. This is an excellent opportunity to design and build enterprise-scale automation solutions within a global banking environment.

The ideal candidate is passionate about infrastructure automation, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Python development, and enterprise platform integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise infrastructure automation solutions.
  • Automate server provisioning, configuration management, lifecycle management, and drift remediation across Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve platform reliability and operational resilience.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
  • Build and enhance AI-Ops automation frameworks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Integrate enterprise platforms and tools using REST APIs and automation workflows.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and engineering teams to standardize automation across the organization.
  • Work with enterprise tools including Ansible, MECM, Qualys, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within Banking or Financial Services technology environments.
  • Strong experience in Infrastructure Automation.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting.
  • Strong Windows Server administration skills.
  • Experience administering Linux/Unix systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible.
  • Good understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong knowledge of REST API integrations.
  • DevOps mindset with experience automating operational processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
  • Familiarity with Qualys, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow is highly desirable.
