Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain SaaS environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and stability.
- Perform routine health checks, upgrades, and preventative maintenance activities while identifying and addressing system bottlenecks and data inconsistencies.
- Independently investigate and resolve operational issues and system errors, while assisting with major incident response efforts, documentation, and post-incident reviews.
- Partner with security and compliance teams by gathering audit artifacts, providing access records and logs, and implementing remediation actions when needed.
- Work alongside customer support and sales teams to troubleshoot customer-facing issues through environment analysis and log investigation.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell or Python to streamline recurring tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide timely support for production incidents and service disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Experience supporting Kubernetes environments, including familiarity with Pods, Services, Deployments, and common troubleshooting practices.
- Working knowledge of technologies such as Nginx, MySQL, Redis, and Kafka, with the ability to perform basic configuration and issue resolution.
- Proficiency with Shell scripting and/or Python for automation and operational support.
- Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, and IAM; experience with EKS is a plus.
- Exposure to infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to critical production issues as needed.
