Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Management – Plan, deploy, and monitor hybrid cloud infrastructure (with a strong focus on Azure) to ensure system health, high availability, and cost efficiency. Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to automate environment builds.
  • Hardware & Colocation Management – Manage server hardware in local exchange colocation facilities and data centres. Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations and access controls. Ensure trading‑hour performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Network Management – Coordinate with telecom providers and internal teams to maintain reliable low‑latency connectivity to exchanges and data centres. Keep network topology documentation audit‑ready.
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) – Drive automation of the trading system development process. Participate in the full SDLC – from requirements and architecture design to deployment – with strict version control, change management, and release governance.
  • System Support – Work directly with traders and technology teams to resolve system issues, provide L1/L2 support, lead incident management, and use automation to prevent recurrence.
  • AV Support – Ensure meeting room readiness daily, quickly respond to failures, and assist with hardware upgrades and deployment.


Required Qualifications

  • Education & Experience – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or support, preferably within trading, finance, or other regulated environments.
  • Technical Skills
  • Deep expertise in Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) – kernel tuning, performance troubleshooting, and automation with Bash/Python.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server and identity management (Active Directory, Azure AD).
  • Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, firewalls, VPN, SD‑WAN, VoIP, with hands‑on troubleshooting ability.
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/vCenter) and basic storage concepts.
  • Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Files, AIP, Intune, Autopilot) is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, Splunk) and log analysis.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines.
