You will play a key role in modernizing our factory systems, improving automation, and helping increase reliability across our worldwide manufacturing operations (1,500+ servers).
This is a hands-on position with real ownership. You will work on meaningful technical challenges, influence engineering practices, and grow your expertise in both software architecture and development + AI adoption.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of redesigning and modernizing existing systems toward more scalable and maintainable architectures
- Improve and creating CI/CD pipelines, observability, and system reliability
- Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers
- Deliver secure, high-performance, and observable solutions that have direct impact on factory operations
- Explore and propose new ideas to increase automation and system intelligence
- Build and integrate automation, including agentic workflows, RAG, and LLM-based solutions (local and cloud)
- 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in system design and architecture of new solution or optimization of existing solutions
- Solid hands-on experience with .NET/C# and/or Python, SQL \NOSQL, Kubernetes or similar container platforms
- Experiencing with transformation from monolithic to distributed systems that also run on-prem\hybrid (local in the factory + cloud)
- Interest in applied AI — you have worked with or are excited to work on LLMs, agents, RAG, or intelligent automation in production systems
- Strong focus on code quality, security, performance, and clean engineering practices
- Good understanding of distributed systems, networking, and operational concerns
- Proactive mindset — you enjoy taking ownership and continuously improving systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with manufacturing, industrial, or large-scale operational systems
- Previous work on observability, automation, or AI integration projects
- Open-source contributions or personal projects demonstrating initiative
