About The Role
We are seeking a DevOps & Cloud Engineer (all genders) to join our team in various locations including Augsburg, Krumbach, Berlin, Ingolstadt, Erlangen, Leipzig, Münster, München, and Karlsruhe. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures tailored to our clients' needs. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams and clients to develop sustainable software solutions, ensuring seamless automation, deployment, and operational excellence. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of security, observability, and cost management across cloud environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of cloud technology, fostering innovation and continuous improvement within a collaborative setting.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate holds a degree in computer science or a comparable educational background. You should possess excellent communication skills in both German and English (C1 level), enabling clear and effective collaboration with team members and partners. Practical experience with cloud and DevOps technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Gitlab is essential. You should have a strong understanding of software architectures, security best practices, observability, and cost efficiency, gained through hands-on involvement in software projects. Certifications in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or StackIT are advantageous. A genuine passion for continuous learning, sharing knowledge within communities, and applying DevOps principles as a cultural philosophy is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and clients to design tailored cloud architectures that support high-quality, sustainable software solutions.
- Ensure automated, reliable, and auditable deployment processes by utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management tools, and reusable deployment patterns.
- Maintain the operational health of cloud solutions through observability tools, security hardening, and resource and cost management strategies.
- Stay current with the latest developments in DevOps and cloud engineering, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within teams and communities.
- Support the technical sales process by providing expert insights and solutions aligned with client requirements.
