Site Reliability Engineer

We're looking for a Site Reliability Administrator to own the uptime, reliability, and performance of our client's cloud environments (Production, DR, Development) across multiple applications. You'll manage infrastructure at the OS/service level and build automation to reduce disruption and improve reliability.
What You'll Do
- Deploy, monitor, and manage Azure-based VMs (Windows 2022+, Linux Ubuntu 22.04+)
- Support web servers, SQL Servers, and line-of-business apps (Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, Neo4j, RabbitMQ, and more)
- Architect highly available systems using Azure redundancy and resiliency features
- Automate deployments and configurations using PowerShell, batch scripting, and AI tools like Co-Pilot
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, load balancing, and DNS
- Review vulnerability scans and support security event monitoring
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and disaster recovery testing
What You'll Need
- 4+ years in a systems administrator, DevOps, or software engineer role
- 2+ years managing mission-critical, 24/7 production applications
- 2+ years deploying to Azure or another cloud provider
- 2+ years automating deployments or server configurations
- 2+ years managing Windows/Linux patching and updates
- 2+ years with PowerShell, bash, or similar languages
- 1+ year managing Windows Active Directory (Group Policy, Users, Groups)
- Solid grasp of core networking (DNS, load balancers, VPN, VLAN)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305) a plus
