Network Lead (Automation and Site Reliability)

I am hiring for a Network Automation and Reliability Engineer on a 12-month contract (extendable) to support a leading global investment management organization in Singapore.

The Role: As a Network Automation and Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks that improve the reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency of a global network infrastructure. You will act as a technical subject matter expert, driving network automation initiatives across data center, cloud, and hybrid environments while working closely with Network, Cloud, Security, DevOps, and Application teams. The role involves developing automation solutions using Ansible, Python, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps practices, implementing observability and monitoring capabilities, automating firewall and network operations, and leading modernization initiatives across enterprise network platforms. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex network issues, performing root cause analysis, defining reliability standards, improving operational resilience, and helping shape the long-term strategy for network automation and reliability engineering within the organization.

The Ideal Candidate: 8+years of network engineering experience, including at least 3 years focused on network automation, reliability, and modernization initiatives within large enterprise environments. You should possess strong hands-on expertise in network technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, DNS, BGP, OSPF, and hybrid cloud networking across AWS and Azure environments. Strong automation experience using Ansible, Python, YAML, CI/CD tools, Infrastructure-as-Code, and GitOps methodologies is essential. Candidates should also have experience with network observability, telemetry, monitoring platforms, firewall automation, and enterprise security frameworks. We are looking for someone who can work independently as a senior technical contributor, influence stakeholders across multiple teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement through automation and innovation. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, Red Hat Ansible, AWS Advanced Networking, or Azure Network Engineer certifications will be highly regarded.
