Monitoring and Linux System Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Monitoring & Linux System Engineer to provide advanced operational support for Linux-based IT infrastructure with a strong focus on system monitoring, observability, and platform reliability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, performance, and availability through proactive monitoring, incident management, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain secure and resilient infrastructure while contributing to the evolution of monitoring capabilities and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilitie

• sAdminister and support enterprise Linux infrastructure in production environments
• .Design, implement, and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• .Monitor system health and performance to proactively detect and resolve issues
• .Troubleshoot incidents using metrics, logs, and diagnostics to minimize downtime
• .Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
• .Execute system maintenance, patching, and lifecycle management activities
• .Develop dashboards and observability solutions to improve operational visibility
• .Automate operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
• .Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure end-to-end platform reliability
• .Evaluate new technologies and contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives for monitoring and automation
• .Participate in on-call support and standby rotations when required
