We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Senior Systems Engineer position located in Provo, Utah. The individual we are looking for is someone who enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

- Administer and maintain Windows server environments, including Active Directory
- Monitor infrastructure health and performance; proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact end users
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code, automation scripts, and runbooks to improve operational efficiency (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, and VPN environments including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
- Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, IP address management (IPAM), and change logs
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and ITSM workflows
- Develop and maintain custom applications, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, flow designer automations, and integrations
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver iterative improvements to the ServiceNow platform
- Manage ServiceNow instance administration including upgrades, cloning, performance tuning, and access controls
- Administer and support Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (e.g., Kandji, Meraki Systems Manager) for device enrollment, compliance, and app deployment
- Manage Identity Provider (IdP) services including SSO, MFA, and user lifecycle management (e.g., Okta)
- Maintain and tune endpoint security solutions (EDR/XDR, antivirus, device compliance) and coordinate incident response with the security partner
- Administer email security tools including spam filtering and anti-phishing policies
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or a related technical role
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, firewalls) with hands-on configuration experience
- Experience with at least one ServiceNow module (ITSM, CMDB, or Service Catalog), including configuration or development
- Familiarity with MDM, IdP, endpoint security, and email security platforms
- Strong scripting and automation skills in one or more of: PowerShell, Bash, Python, or JavaScript
- Excellent troubleshooting methodology and the ability to work through complex, multi-system issues independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
