System Engineer

This top hedge fund is looking for a candidate to join their trading systems engineering team, where you would be improving stability and performance. This role would have you ensuring trading activities are optimised every day and that they are uninterrupted. You would also monitor, and prevent incidents from happening, or resolve them, whilst implementing tools to increase automation.

What you will need:

• Interest in performance tuning and optimisation
• Proficient with Python
• Linux system admin
• Previous experience in a CI/CD environment and understand how to get the best out of 3rd party tools such as:

• Ansible
• Octopus
• TeamCity
• Volt
• Jira
