IntePros is seeking experienced Linux Application Support Engineers to join a leading financial technology organization supporting large-scale enterprise platforms. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy troubleshooting complex Linux environments, automating processes, and partnering with infrastructure and development teams to improve application performance and reliability.

You'll work across Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, automation, and enterprise applications to identify issues, implement solutions, and drive operational improvements in a fast-paced production environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and troubleshoot enterprise applications running primarily in Linux environments.
  • Partner with infrastructure, development, and operations teams to improve system stability and performance.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues across Linux servers, applications, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.
  • Monitor system health, analyze logs, and proactively identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Support Windows environments where needed while serving as a Linux subject matter expert.
  • Work with SQL to troubleshoot application and database issues.
  • Support cloud-based infrastructure, primarily within AWS.
  • Participate in Agile teams and contribute to continuous process improvement.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10 years of experience supporting enterprise applications or infrastructure.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Linux command line, shell scripting, system logs, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Experience supporting large-scale production environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation best practices.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve operational efficiency is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
