Application Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Daily participation of support

- Incident management (L3)

- Product lifecycle management

- Release management and scheduling

- Change management

- Application testing

Other duties:

- Own a core system or value stream

- Own planning and delivery of key platform features such as integration enhancements, architectural developments

- Manages key technical as well as functional aspects of the platform, proposes and owns technical decisions

- Design, implement, maintain Microsoft environment (Azure, SQL server, BizTalk,)

- OR Support Software development and deployment of application related to aviation industry (Flysmart, Airbus, Lufthansa etc.)

- OR Work with an environment Dynamics AX, SAP Ariba, SAP SuccessFactors

- Communication and professional side negotiating with the business

- Data provision for project stakeholders, process mapping

- Support projects’ design, implementation and documentation phases

- Participation in the decision-making of IT developments.

- Lead the creation, review, and submittal of technical support documentation updates

- Updating LLPs regarding the changes

- Training the members of other teams

- Assist in the training of customers on systems applications.

Requirements:

- Fluent English

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in related position

- 3+ years of experience with Windows server systems, Windows active directory, MS Azure, MS Enterprise suite

- Solid understanding of the following, but not limited: Microsoft Dynamics, SQL, SQL query, BizTalk, PowerShell scripting

- Understands Agile, SAFe, DevOps, ITIL concepts and excels in suggesting methodologies best fit to a business

- Experience in modern software development and delivery practices including CI/CD, Cloud Native and Microservices architecture

- Experience in working in true DevOps teams where “you build it, you run it”
