Systems Engineer (Esports)

This role may require international travel to support global and regional events. Expected travel ranges from 10% to 40% depending on event schedules and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Act as the SME for core infrastructure systems, platforms, and services
- Design, support and evolve our global esports infrastructure
- Collaborate within a diverse, cross functional team across engineering and operations
- Develop technical standards and enable operations teams through documentation, automation, and coaching
- Participate in global event support as needed, including occasional non standard working hours
- 5+ years as a Systems, Support or Infrastructure Engineering roles
- Experience with Ansible and Terraform for automation and configuration management
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, AHV).
- Experience designing and operating containerized workloads (e.g., Docker)
- Experience with imaging and deployment tools (e.g., FOG, SCCM, Autopilot)
- Expertise in Linux and Windows systems
- Track record of reducing operational toil through automation
- Experience building or maintaining global infrastructure, systems at scale
- Experience defining and implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability standards
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience using Git for version control
- Experience with operating infrastructure in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Relevant certifications such as RHCE or RHCSA, or equivalent hands-on experience, are a plus

Duties
