Key Responsibilities
Cloud Service Management
- Azure Cloud Services: Operate and maintain Azure services, perform performance tuning and cost optimization, and monitor using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Manage the lifecycle of cloud services, including onboarding, change management, and decommissioning.
- Act as the primary escalation point for cloud service issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors.
- Governance & Security: Develop and enforce Azure Policies and guardrails, ensure compliance with Zero Trust principles, and collaborate with Security Operations for incident handling.
- Ensure cloud environments comply with internal security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the security team to implement and monitor cloud security controls, including threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Drive automation initiatives across cloud operations using tools such as PowerShell, Azure Automation, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Bicep, Terraform).
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimization, performance tuning, and operational efficiency.
- Azure DevOps: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage repositories, build agents, and release processes, and ensure governance and security in DevOps workflows.
- Power Platform: Develop and maintain Power Platform enviroments, pipelines, Agents, Power Apps and Power Automate flows, and integrate with Azure services.
- Automation & Infrastructure as Code: Implement Terraform and Bicep templates, and automate tasks using PowerShell and Azure Automation.
- Lead cloud-related projects, including migrations, service transitions, and new solution deployments.
- Translate business requirements into technical deliverables and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain a structured intake process for new demands and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Development Support: Advise development teams on best practices for cloud and DevOps, and assist with automation and CI/CD implementation.
- Coordinate with external service providers and outsourcing partners to ensure consistent service delivery and contractual compliance.
- Monitor vendor performance and participate in regular service reviews and governance meetings.
- Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation are maintained between internal teams and external partners.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Power Platform, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and governance.
- Ability to manage own projects and coordinate with teams.
- Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
- When required be handling Incidents/requests in your queue.
- Provide knowledge for Service Desk to solve issue to our colleagues.
- When required, act as the subject matter expert for all aspects of an assigned activity within your E2E responsibility.
- When required be able to present confidently in front of Management and Business Partners
- Ensure operational standards are adhered to; including actively looking to continuously improve working practices to ensure your services is performing to best in class.
