:ROLE SUMMAR

YWe are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to support a mission-critical Run the Bank (RTB) application portfolio within a Software Reliability & Controls organization. This role is focused on production stability, operational excellence, and risk management for high-availability systems in a regulated enterprise environment

.This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in production environments, takes ownership of system stability, and can partner effectively across infrastructure, security, and application teams to reduce operational risk and improve reliability

.JOB DESCRIPTIO

NIdentifies and establishes ways of stabilizing environments and sites while assessing opportunities to drive engineering stability through analytics and metrics. Responsible for site design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning. Defines, creates, and ensures that robust dashboards and monitoring systems are implemented. Identifies, coordinates, and implements SLAs and SLOs through the use of established robust monitoring for applications, service sites, and platforms. Leads in analyzing metrics from operating sites and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding. Troubleshoots priority incidents and participates in blameless post-mortems. Understands the stack to optimize complex systems and user interactions — including how code is deployed, configured, and monitored — as well as the availability, latency, change management, emergency response, and capacity planning of services in production. Engages in testing strategy approaches and results, complex incident response and root cause analysis efforts, resolving underlying issues, driving continuous improvement in incident management, and reducing mean time to resolution. Mentors and trains junior team members on best practices for infrastructure management and disaster recovery

s• Partner with internal technology teams to execute production changes safely and in accordance with change management processe

t• Conduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and production issue

s• Implement corrective and preventative actions to prevent recurrenc

e• Identify recurring issues and drive process improvements and automation to reduce risk and manual effor
