  • Create and operate virtualized resources including Docker containers and KVM hosts.
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery systems for managed Linux hosts.

  • Provide operational support for robotics setup, including integration or robotic testing and test results into engineering workflows.

CI/CD & Build Systems

  • Design, build, and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins, targeting firmware and system image artifacts.
  • Enforce code quality through integrated linting, static analysis, and test execution at pipeline quality gates.
  • Extend build automation to support hardware-in-the-loop testing, bringing physical device testing into eh CI process.

Monitoring & Observability

  • Own the organization’s Grafana-based observability stack end-to-end, including metrics ingestion, dashboards, data retention,, and alert routing.
  • Develop and maintain alerting coverage for infrastructure health scenarios such as power source changes, UPS-triggered shutdowns, storage capacity thresholds, and hardware faults.

Cloud Operations

  • Administer the organization’s AWS environment at an org level, including account provisioning, routine security reviews, and spend reporting.

Internal IT & Helpdesk

  • Act as the primary internal IT resource for the engineering team, handling hardware, software, and access issues.
  • Own onboarding workflows including account provisioning and workstation configuration.
  • Liaise with third-part vendors and external IT partners on compliance initiatives, procurement, and IT-adjacent projects.

What you can bring to the table to impact this role, team, and organization:

  • 5+ years in a hands-on IT, systems administration, DevOps, or infrastructure role with ownership across both engineering and IT systems.
  • Deep Linux administration experience including Bash scripting and configuration management (SaltStack, Ansible, or equivalent).
