As a Staff CloudOps Developer, You Will Be Expected To Work Out Of Our Office In Vancouver, BC. Corpay Will Set You Up For Success By Providing
- Assigned workspace in the Vancouver, BC office

- Contributing to and driving large-scale technical and architecture discussions.
- Collaborating with stakeholders such as development, security engineering, and compliance teams throughout the design, development, and operations lifecycle.
- Providing technical support to developers who are using platform services.
- Developing and maintaining infrastructure code, producing a high standard of well-factored and tested code
- Building and managing CI/CD pipelines, constantly improve their reliability and speed, and reduce change lead time.
- Improving our container (EKS/ECS)- based infrastructure to respond to company needs and demands for platform agility, security, and development teams' enablement.
- Improving the team's development process, technical practices, and coding standards.
- Developing tools to enhance and support Developer Productivity.
- Championing automation of manual processes and reduce operational overhead
- Making code review suggestions, responding constructively and learning from feedback
- Participating in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support to critical infrastructure.
- 7+ years' of industry experience where you have developed several significant feature sets and infrastructure automation projects from start to finish
- Strong hands-on experience with a cloud provider, ideally AWS
- Recent hands-on experience with EKS or Kubernetes for container orchestration, cluster management, and microservices deployment.
- Recent experience with GitOps using FluxCD. ArgoCD.
- Recent hands-on Experience with DevOps tools like VCS (GitHub, GitLab), Ansible, Artifactory, Synk, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Cloud Formation), etc.
- Experience building CICD pipelines and with at least one programming language to deliver a production backend service
- Strong fundamentals in Networking, infrastructure, Linux and Windows.
- Life-long learner and self-starter, including the ability to quickly become productive in an unfamiliar technology or codebase.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- A keen interest and proven experience in improving team standards and process.
