Lufthansa Systems Hungária is looking for new professional for our office in Budapest!


Join us to help ensure that Lufthansa Systems Hungária's technologies are applied efficiently. Take responsibility for our portfolio of solutions and help provide optimal support to airlines.


Your responsibilities will be


  • Monitor the configuration, maintenance and usage of environments configured with virtual machines as well as cloud based infrastructures (Kubernetes).
  • Cooperate closely with platform engineers, software architects, delivery teams and involved operational units.
  • Being part of a cross functional development team, that implements and adopts the defined DevOps procedures.
  • Align the DevOps toolchain and procedures with agile and traditional software development methods.
  • Create, develop and maintain the product infrastructure and setup.
  • Developing CI/CD pipelines and environment setup.
  • Support production deployments and incidents occasionally.
  • Enable the operation team to solve operational environment related issues.
  • Work with non-functional requirements of our products and solutions including configuration, deployment, lifecycle management.


You are looking for us, if You have


  • 3 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of key DevOps concepts – continuous integration/improvement and delivery; pipelines, Infrastructure As Code and Cloud concept (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, FaaS).
  • Experience in scripting and automation skills (like Bash, Python or Perl).
  • Familiarity with both cloud platform administration and development.
  • Experience in Jenkins Linux.
  • Basic Kubernetes knowledge.
  • Advantage can be to know the following technologies: Ansible, YAML, Terraform and being motivated to use Docker.
