System Engineer (M4 40-093)

Our Anritsu Service Assurance division provides solutions and services ensuring that quality communication services are delivered towards 1 billion telecom subscribers. The solution offers unrivalled visibility of network and service performance. This business unit is looking for a new colleague.

The System Engineer shall provide implementation and installation services to customer projects. The services shall be provided in accordance with the Anritsu Project Delivery model and in accordance with the guidelines and plans set out by the Program Manager and Solution Architect.

The System Engineer is also assumed to contribute with ideas and suggestions for how to improve and simplify MasterClaw installation work.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Scoping, Planning and Reporting:

• Participate in project hand-over from sales.
• Work with Solution Architect to create detailed technical solution (low level design), including identification of HW and SW items needed for a particular installation.
• Cooperate with the Project Manager and Solution Architect to establish planning for the Solution/MasterClaw installation.
• Provide inputs to Project Manager regarding the work content and resource requirement for individual work within the project plan.
• Provide information about the technical status to the Project Manager.
• Prepare and write project documentation in accordance with the Anritsu Project Delivery model
• Participate in customer regular project update meetings.

System Integration and Validation:

• Check on-line access to customers environments.
• Remote and/or on-site installation work consisting of SW and HW integration, configuration, and testing to achieve the required solution.
• Failure reporting (EPR) and follow-up (provides technical input until EPR is accepted or rejected).
• Risk assessment and reporting.

Test and Delivery:

• Execute and document Acceptance Test as defined by Solution Architect.
• Documents clearly and concisely the bugs encountered during testing and communicate test status
• Collaborate with Solution Architect define and execute acceptance tests for projects involving customized applications.
• Prepare project documentation (i.e., site/system information documents) as required for handover to Anritsu Support and for customer acceptance.
• Participate in the formal hand-over to the customer.
• Participate in project hand-over to the Anritsu Customer Support responsible.
• Provide input to project evaluation report.

Knowledge sharing:

• Train other Customer Implementation and Support employees in new products, procedures etc.
• Act as coach for new employees.
• Document processes and procedures used in relation to MasterClaw integration and delivery work and share it on internal knowledge platform.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST HAVEs:

• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM solutions using APIs or frameworks such as Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Understanding of context orchestration, tool usage, and multi-system AI interaction
• Good sense for high quality and structured and systematic approach.
• Ability to work Global (EU citizen), 20% of time travel
• System user and administration - RHEL/ALMA
• DWH specific: PL/SQL, Hadoop, Vertica
• Virtualization (VMware, OpenStack, Proxmox ); Automation (Ansible, Terraform)
• Scripting Languages: Linux/Unix shells, PHP, JavaScript, Python
• Business Intelligence tools (Tableau)
• LAN administration (HP, Ixia, Cisco)
• HW administration (HP, Dell)
• Container platforms (Openshift, EKS, K8s)
• Fluent in English

NICE TO HAVEs:

• 5+ years, experience in Telecom industry (mainly OSS/NOC), for fixed and wireless solutions –Mobile (GSM/GPRS/UMTS/LTE/5G) and Fixed (ISUP/VOIP/IMS) Signaling protocols and procedures in access and core networks, good knowledge of Telecom Operators KPIs
• 5+ years, experience in Test Engineer/DB Administrator/System Administrator positions
• Experience with Grafana, Helm charts
