Role Overview:


We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and drive the design, automation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and highly available AWS environments while enabling development teams through modern DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and Kubernetes-based deployments.

You will collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Architects, Security, and Operations teams to improve platform reliability, deployment speed, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, build, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD to support automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Manage and operate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS).
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
  • Automate infrastructure configuration and application deployment using Ansible.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  • Improve system scalability, reliability, security, and performance across production environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-native application deployments and operational best practices.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application issues in complex distributed environments.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure infrastructure complies with security, governance, and operational standards.
  • Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS).
  • Proven experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
  • Experience implementing observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud infrastructure design.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments


Nice to have:

  • AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator).
  • Experience with GitOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Helm and Kubernetes Operators.
  • Experience with container security and vulnerability scanning.
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
  • Experience with multi-account AWS environments.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery and high availability architectures.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.
