DevSecOps Engineer

BespokeIQ are proud to be partnering with an established global SaaS business entering its next phase of platform maturity, security capability and intelligent automation.

This is a newly created opportunity to join a team where you'll take ownership of cloud infrastructure, platform reliability and engineering efficiency; helping shape how the business scales over the coming years.

Rather than simply maintaining existing environments, you'll work closely with engineering leadership to identify opportunities for automation, reduce operational overhead, strengthen security practices and improve the overall developer experience.
One of your early priorities will be identifying repetitive manual activities and introducing pragmatic automation to improve the way engineering teams operate. From infrastructure through to security processes, you'll play a key role in helping the business work smarter while maintaining appropriate governance and human oversight.

You'll work across a modern cloud platform, partnering closely with software engineers to continually improve infrastructure, deployment processes, security capability and operational resilience.
This role isn't about chasing every new technology. It's about making considered engineering decisions, introducing meaningful automation and building scalable, reliable systems that support a growing international SaaS platform.

Skills/experience to cover:

• Strong experience working within AWS production environments
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern deployment practices
• A solid understanding of DevOps principles and secure software delivery
• Experience improving engineering efficiency through automation
• Practical knowledge of application security and cloud security best practices
• An understanding of modern security frameworks such as OWASP and secure development principles
• The ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with engineering teams

Exposure to containerisation, CI/CD pipelines, modern automation tooling and AI-assisted engineering workflows will be highly regarded.
