About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Analyst DevOps Engineer to design, implement and operate secure, scalable developer platforms and automation that enables reliable, high-quality software delivery across AWS and Azure environments.
This is a great opportunity for a collaborative, innovative and automation-focused DevOps professional to influence platform engineering standards, drive cloud maturity and help shape modern engineering practices across a large and complex global organisation.
Reporting to the DevOps Manager and working in a collaborative and high-performing team environment within Enterprise Platform and Services, you will
- Design, build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices, while also developing and optimising CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, consistency and reliability
- Embed security, quality and compliance controls into delivery pipelines through automation
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and observability capabilities across cloud platforms and services
- Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency
- Partner with development, security and operations teams to enable frequent, low-risk software releases
- Identify and remediate reliability, performance and security risks across the technology ecosystem, all while contributing to the continuous improvement of DevOps standards, reusable patterns and engineering practices, while mentoring and uplifting other engineers
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Demonstrated experience designing and operating cloud platforms within AWS and/or Azure environments, working with tools such as GitHub, Azure, YAML, Rest API & Kubernetes
- Strong expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline development and infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Bicep, Terraform or equivalent technologies
- Experience implementing security, compliance and quality controls within software delivery processes
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation, reliability and continuous improvement
- Experience in implementing integrations with SaaS applications using secure, best practice methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence technical teams and mentor less experienced engineers
- Experience operating enterprise platforms with scalable governance models ensuring reliability and responsiveness
